Your pre-travel eSIM checklist
Practical tips from device compatibility to your first connection abroad.
1. Check your exact device
A brand name is not enough. Check the model number, purchase region and carrier lock. Look for an Add eSIM option in settings. Our destination pages include a device list; your manufacturer's exact model information takes priority.
2. Match the plan to your trip
Compare destination, allowance and validity. Read the activation rule before installing: installing a profile and starting its validity are not necessarily the same event. VeyreSIM plans provide mobile data only.
3. Prepare for installation
Use a reliable internet connection. Display the QR code on another screen or use manual details if supplied. Keep QR codes and activation information private. Give the line a recognisable label such as “Travel”.
4. Choose the correct line on arrival
Select the travel eSIM for mobile data. Enable roaming on that line if the plan instructions require it.
